Trackback is RESTian, has RDF, and Dublin Core? I didn't know that...guess you can all predict which one I'm for. :^)

One possibility would be the Pingback and Trackback protocols
from the blogging world:

They're geared towards informing sites that they have been linked, but same could be interpreted as a "tell me when you're updated" request.
