Hello all, I'm not sure if this has already been suggested but have you guys compiled Midgard with sitegroups?
This is from the Midgard installation manual (http://www.midgard-project.org/manual/en/x209.php): <snip> $ cd midgard-lib-1.4 (directory containing midgard-lib source) $ ./configure [--prefix=/usr/local/midgard] [--with-sitegroups] --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-expat $ make # make install </snip> I had similar problem once when my server's admin had recompiled Midgard without sitegroups. ;) Cheers! //Henri Kaukola ----- Original Message ----- From: "Edwin Barendse" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 9:05 PM Subject: RE: [midgard-user] Problem logging into Aegir...SQL log attached... Well, butt I am stuck with the same problem. Actually I had Aegir running, but that was on my previous compile attempt (apache 1.3.27, PHP 4.3.1, further a RedHat 8 installation} but then asgard did not work properly. So I reinstalled RH and compiled with PHP 4.2.3. Compiling went great, Midgard working fine all the way, but after installing Aegir I could not login into the Aegir web site as described by Joshua. Could not verify if the SQL log is the same but seems the same problem. One thing that I noticed is that the picture on the login-page did not load and it did the first time with PHP 4.3.1. ...... <img src="aegir-login-10.jpg" alt="Aegir CMS"> ...... and I remembered that this reference was much longer the first time. Seems that I am not able to create a new sitegroup, but will continue to investigate. Thanks in advance. Edwin Barendse Engineer Data-Telecommunicatie Muxum Data Communicatie B.V. I can't use Midgard at the moment: I recompiled with mod_perl, and now when I load mod_midgard and try to request a page, Apache segfaults (may have something to do with not recompiling mod_midgard). But, at any rate, I've moved on: I don't have any more time to mess around. Which is really sad, because Aegir looked like such a great product. Maybe next time around. Thanks to all for their help and suggestions! It is/was greatly appreciated. j----- k----- On Wed, 2003-06-04 at 16:39, John Habermann wrote: > Are you able to log into SG0 using Asgard or the Old Admin?
