I know somewhere in either the activeperl of midgard docs there's a note
about this.

I don't know too much, I've spent some time installing both mgl and mg but
haven't had success getting either running yet.  I had this same problem and
got past it but I'm still staring at the php4 server config that the default
exception handler dumps out.
