No, only the objects that are exclusive to "your company" (or sitegroup) need to be updated if trough some mistake you have created them to SG0, even then I would rather recommend using the $obj->setsitegroup(int sgid); -method and go trough the Midgard API instead of messing with the db directly.
I recommend using Aegir, setting up sitegroups *properly* is rather complicated in Asgard (i posted instructions some time ago, check the archives) and impossible in Old Admin.
In general direct updates to the MySQL should not be done unless you're certain you know what you're doing, there's a lot of interconnected stuff that's easy to break.
