It depends on configuration. And it caches not everything - just pages.The Admin interface is pages so when I'm having trouble with that I have to go in and clean out all the pages everytime just to see if my update worked?
Slightly OT but is there a linux command to kill the content of a directory without touching the parents permissions etc.?
Actually Aegir's staging/live setup uses 2 different DBs. I think there's overlap in the page IDs. No?What happens when the 2 servers are both looking in the same folder for their cached pages? They don't overlap?
They don't. Since you use one database for your midgard, every page has its own unique id.
