[midgard-user] MidgardDatabase takes three arguments or four?

According to these docs 
(http://www.midgard-project.org/manual/en/x252.php):

MidgardDatabase [<host>:]<midgard> <midgard> <midgard>

there an optional argument for the database host. When I try to
add a host in my midgard-data.conf I get the following error:
Syntax error on line 2 of /usr/local/apache/conf/midgard-data.conf:

MidgardDatabase takes three arguments, Name of the Midgard database, 
username and password from which to fetch content

I vaguely remember this working in the past. Deprecated.

Isn't about time that the midgard db can be configured in a text
file somewhere instead of hacking C source files?
