Hi

I'm new to Midgard and CMS's. I'm evaluating / testing a number including OpenCMS, Zope and Midgard. I've got OpenCMS and Zope running very easily but seem to have struck a brick wall with Midgard. I have a fresh install of Midgard 1.4.4 on Woody Debian box. I've used the deb files from Midgard Debian Woody stable release. I've set up the virtual hosts as per the instructions from the manual (8099, 8101 and 8102) and when I access http://127.0.0.1:8102/asgard and enter the username: admin and password: password I get the error below:

Parse error: parse error in ROOT on line 20
?><!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<[head]>
</HEAD>
<[css]>
<BODY <[body-format]>>
<[body]>
</BODY>
</HTML><?php

I can't access any of the other virtual hosts either, all I get is the Apache Welcome page and not the administrative pages that are supposed to come up. 8101 admin page is blank but I get prompted for the username and password at /asgard on 8102.

I've spend a number of days trawling through returns from Google and have some some leads, even postings with the same message but with little or no informative replies. I really want to evaluate Midgard and don't want it to be something really simple that stops me. I might consider compiling from the source but why then have make deb pacakges available?

Any help or advice would be appreciated :-))

Cheers
