Greetings!

We encountered interesting database connectivity issues with a recent
Midgard 1.5.0 installation.

mod_midgard (regular, non-mmp) is complaining that it cannot establish
connection to the "midgard" database.

This error message is repeated each time a HTTP request is made for
a VirtualHost where MidgardEngine is On, not on Apache start up.

The MidgardDatabase directive is set correctly.

Midgard-lib can connect to the Midgard DB without issues (both repligard
and utilities like midgard-pageresolve work).

The "apache" user can connect to the Midgard database with "mysql
- -umidgard -pmidgard midgard".

The database is running on localhost with RPM installation of MySQL
3.x (the stock version that ships with RH 9).

Any ideas what I'm overlooking here?

/Bergie
