May I ask what exactly you do when you try to login to Aegir...
Do you only type your name and password ?
Or do you choose a Company and then type your name and password...
This happend to me once ... thats why I am asking ... if you dont select a company the login wont work of course...

Chris

Done that. It's set to be 777 and www:www. Doesn't seem to help. I've done
things like this before and I've always used the same permissions and it
worked for other things.
The images are already moved I resolve this part though but setting the port
number to 80 in midgard.host db/table.
Have log level turned on hasn't helped me as of yet. Tells me more what is
going.
Still getting files not found in blobs directory even though its there and
host record not found.
Aegir and Asgard do not have any ideas. Aegir doesn't seem to work. I try logging in but never goes beyond the login page.

Asgard servers images from blobs. Make sure that blobs dir for this Vhosts is set correctly and readable for apache user.
Old example site serves images from filesystem. So moving images directory (from midgard-data package) to images directory within DocumentRoot should resolve Your problem.
For additional information , set Apache' log level to debug and look (send here) at logs.
