Ahhh.There you place two snippets, "schema", where the schema you want to use is, and "config" where you override global config. You usually have to override at least one config parameter to tell MidCOM where it finds your custom schema:
"schemadb" => "/sitegroup-config/de.linkm.taviewer/schema"

"midcom", "style", "/path/to/substyle" parameter is set to a topic. You can also set it in MidCOM AIS (Edit topic).
Yeah, but the AIS for the de.linkm.events component is broken, and besides I'd rather have one admin interface for everything (more on that in a separate e-mail, later). events uses extra2 and extra3 for a couple of its fields, but there is another field that requires you to set a parameter to use it, and I want to have it use extra1 so that a user can
go into Aegir, create a new article, fill in those fields and not worry about setting a parameter.
