[midgard-user] Preparser question

I noticed that the midgard-root that is installed with 
mod_midgard-preparse doesn't use mgd_eval to parse the style/page 
element tags.

Does this mean I can put the style/page tags into a file on the 
filesystem and have them be interpreted like they would be if they were 
served out of the database? (I've just started using the preparser, so 
I'm not sure of the answer to this.)
