Can you confirm that you got mirror data in both SG's? I mean that nothing
dissapeared? Log into aegir with sg2 admin and check. Then you got to adjust
data for midcom sites since it uses GUIDs, so you probably have SG1 guids in
SG2.

The data seems to be complete in both SGs. I can understand that I have to adjust data (MidCOM root_page and root_topic) to the correct GUIDs in the new SG, but it makes me nervous if I import to SG2 and SG1 is damaged!

I really did only the steps I wrote in my first posting (imported to SG2) and
this is what I get when I access SG1's home:

--
Site initialization failed

Data initialization for this site is incomplete. Current status is: AIS topic not found
--

and if I proceed to site initialization the details are:

--
MidCOM site initialization

Checking MidCOM site data status

midcom_site root topic not found

midcom_site AIS topic not found
Module Status Details
Root topic FAIL Topic midcom_site root topic not found
Root topic component FAIL Parameter midcom_site root topic component not found
AIS topic FAIL Topic midcom_site AIS topic not found
AIS topic components FAIL Parameter midcom_site AIS topic component not found
Localization topic FAIL
Localization topic component FAIL
--

So I have to completely delete SG1 and SG2, create new SG1 and import again.
So I get SG1 back again... But I really feel bad trying this on a production
server without understanding what is going on there ;-)
