I'm a little lost with all the paths. I don't care where the bins, libs and conf files for midgard get stored. What I do want is control over where it puts things like blobs and the cache dir. > > > Where are these vhosts? > > > In host table in midgard DB? > > > In Apache configuration? > > > > No everytime I add a vhost with datagard it will modify every host in > the > > host table to be that of the added vhost. all hosts have the same > prefix, > > and the same name. Yes it only changes the hosts in the hosts table with the name "localhost" but the first time you run datagard I believe it adds hosts for aegir and spider-admin, as default. Since the vhost will give these both identical names, then how would you access them individual interfaces. Also, if someone were to do Datagard -install (install a new database) Then do Datagard -import (import other applications such as midcom) without creating a vhost inbetween. Then you will have a table full of local hosts. Run datagard and create a vhost you just made a pain for figuring out which host is which, since all hosts will look exactly the same from the hosts table. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
