This is caused by invalid midgard-root file. Current midgard-apache may 
work as old mod midgard and as mod-preparser. You switch it on or off
by enabling or disabling MidgardPageCacheDir command. 
And according to this You change Your root file. 
It is usefull as You may have 20 Vhosts and use cache for only selected.
I hope that datagard will manage these features with 1.6 stable , but now 
we need test it a lot.
