Just to clarify a little (I am working with Uung) we have a midgard database based on the Wilderness Society-modified version.
We're wondering what to use for a search engine. We also need to be able to search for text inside acrobat documents in particular.
Should we use built-in midgard commands or an external search engine? If the built-in commands search only in the midgard database, can they also search the contents of linked files (in the blobs directory).
Would a generic search engine which creates an index by recursively following all links work on a dynamic system like Midgard?
We're looking at mnogosearch ... anyone have any suggestions of what's a good choice?
