Sure,

The system is a Sun Cobalt Raq 3i with 512Mb ram running:
Apache version 1.3.20
PHP version 4.3.2
MySQL version 3.23.54
Midgard version 1.5.0
MidCom version 1.1.1
Aegir version 1.01

Apache is set up with 25 virtual hosts sharing 12 ip addresses. All the
hosts except 2 use midgard/Aegir successfully and without any issues. The
problem seems to lie with the fact that for the affected sites, they are
tied to one IP address and the domain name server for the domains forwarding
to this IP address is owned by Easyspace. All the other domains names are
hosted inhouse on our own DNS server. If I do not use midgard for the
website (i.e. static html pages only), there is no problem and the page
content displays fine.

The configuration in apache is the same for the affected domains as the ones
that work and is:

NameVirtualHost 217.154.105.62
#Live
<VirtualHost 217.154.105.62>
        MidgardEngine On
        ServerName www.emberz.co.uk
        Port 80
        DocumentRoot /home/sites/site19/web
        MidgardDatabase midgard midgard midgard
        MidgardBlobDir /home/midgard/blobs
        CustomLog /var/log/httpd/www.emberz.co.uk-staging.log combined
        php_value magic_quote_gpc off
        php_value magic_quotes_runtime off
        MidgardParser latin1
</VirtualHost>
#Staging
<VirtualHost 217.154.105.62:8080>
        MidgardEngine On
        ServerName www.emberz.co.uk
        Port 8080
        DocumentRoot /home/sites/site19/web
        MidgardDatabase midgard midgard midgard
        MidgardBlobDir /home/midgard/blobs
        CustomLog /var/log/httpd/www.emberz.co.uk-staging.log combined
        php_value magic_quote_gpc off
        php_value magic_quotes_runtime off
        MidgardParser latin1
</VirtualHost>

Cheers

Hi,

Would you mind telling us a bit more about the computer?

like:
 - you have checked for full ur nearly full filesystems?
 - you have checked that this is not a Mysqlissue?
 - what midgard , apache, mysql and OS version is this system running?
