Thanks for the advice - I did check this but didn't mention it in my post. My repligard.conf has this entry for the schema;

=-=-=
schema="/usr/share/midgard/repligard_i18n_po.xml"
=-=-=

$ ls -la /usr/share/midgard/repligard_i18n_po.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 12584 Nov 5 21:22 /usr/share/midgard/repligard_i18n_po.xml

For the hell of it, I've changed the default schema file that was setup to just the plain old repligard.xml that's found in the same directory, and it appears to be working!(?)... Is this a bug that I should log somewhere again the i18n version of the schema?

thanks for the help!

Mark

Check that the repligard.xml (or repligard_withsg.xml) schema file
referred to in repligard.conf exists in the location referred (if not
either copy it there or change repligard.conf).
