Greetings!

We're now planning how to roll out the new Midgard FAQ in a
collaborative way. Some notes from #midgard:

[19:26] Bergie: TheWarden: regarding FAQ, Juhana will also work on that
so it would be cool if you two can collaborate
...
[19:27] TheWarden: bergie: is there anything we can use via the web to
help collaborate ?
...
[19:27] Bergie: TheWarden: Midgard? ;-)

[19:30] TheWarden: rguerra: I'm not a fan of having docs produced online
go live/public before there finialized, proofed, etc.
[19:31] Bergie: TheWarden: FAQ is quite atomic... I think every
question/answer pair should be able to be published separately
[19:31] TheWarden: bergie: really cool... well if you need any help let
me know.
...
[19:32] Bergie: The idea we had with the FAQ was that it could be
produced on a special blog on our own server (and other blogs
elsewhere), one question/answer pair per post. The question/answer pairs
would be categorized according to what FAQ/section they belong to
[19:33] Bergie: ...and then the Midgard server would have an RSS
syndication process that would copy the FAQ items to articles in the
server's FAQ
...
19:33] TheWarden: bergie: sounds good but how does that work as a
whole.. bring all the questions and answers togehter into a document
weather it's online or offline version?
[19:33] Bergie: TheWarden: when one answer is ready, you post it on blog
and it appears to m-p.org
[19:34] TheWarden: bergie: mm interesting... sounds cool but would be
hard to produce a PDF document of that no? Maybe a dynamic PDF
generating no... I like to provide that option as well for those the
link printed copy or offline copy.
...
[19:35] TheWarden: well I do it on my blog or which ever way bergie is
saying.. that works for me. Let's get it setup so we can start into and
drop stuff in as we come up with material.
...
19:36] Bergie: TheWarden: PDF generation is easy using htmldoc
...
[19:36] TheWarden: bergie: okay never done that...
[19:37] TheWarden: bergie: well what do we need to do then to start this
then?
...
[19:37] Bergie: TheWarden: agree on the categories, and then I need to
build the aggregator. This is a bit different from n.n.rss because I
want it to create actual articles on the site

I would propose the following categorization:

Product: Midgard/OpenPSA/something else

FAQ category: Setup/Development/Site building/End-user

How does that sound?

/Bergie
