Did you select  "update" in datagard?

Repligard has bug which produces segfaults or similiar problems when schema is 
wrong.
I think you should write own script to import SG as update from datagard is not 
designed to use SG xmls files.
you can try to overwrite repligard.xml with repligard_withsg.xml in your share 
path.
