Thanks (again) for all your help. I managed to import my old data now. both 
versions (update db an import xml packages) now work. All content ends up in 
SG0, but I guess there's no way to avoid that. Is there an easy way to move 
all the stuff to another sitegroup or do I have to modify the db directly?
