Hi! thanks for all your replies and comments so far. I tried to follow them the best I could, but had no luck so far.
The last thing I tried was to remove everything from the system that had "midgard" in its name. I then rebooted and installed 1.7rc1 from the .debs, but to no avail. Now dpkg says everything is properly installed, apache2 starts like it should and the vhosts get loaded, but no Midgard. There is nothing in Apache's error.log and no errors on startup. datagard, repligard and midgard-config all work normally, but when I try to access my site, all I get is "directory index forbidden". If anybody has any idea what I could try to get my server at least working again, pls let me now! Bye, Andreas Am Mittwoch, 29.
