same problem here,I am using Fedora 13,tomcat5,nutch-1.2. /var/lib/tomcat5/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/nutch-site.xml : <property> <name>searcher.dir</name> <value>/home/sky/Software/nutch-1.2/scu</value> <description> Path to root of crawl. This directory is searched (in order) for either the file search-servers.txt, containing a list of distributed search servers, or the directory "index" containing merged indexes, or the directory "segments" containing segment indexes. </description> </property>
and the catalina.out tells: 2011-01-07 20:06:09,974 INFO NutchBean - creating new bean 2011-01-07 20:06:10,125 WARN SearchBean - Neither file:///home/sky/Software/nutch-1.2/scu/index nor file:///home/sky/Software/nutch-1.2/scu/indexes found! any suggestion?thanks in advance!
