Update: still not working:
I stole the .jars from
https://svn.hotwaxmedia.com/crucible/browse/ofbiz/trunk/applications/pos/lib/epsonJposServiceCommon.jar

put them in specialpurpose/pos/lib/
I'm using JDK 1.6
EPSON JavaPOS ADK Ver.1.11L

I get this
