1. There are several threads already on the ML that address this topic in detail. I suggest you search Nabble and read those posts.
2. Once you understand how to configure PosSyncSettings.xml and point each instance to the appropriate server for synchronization, you can administer almost everything from the MCS. This is where I suggest creating users. Take a look at the demo data to understand what roles and security groups POS users should be given. 3. Users can be imported just like any other data using the XML import mechanism in webtools. But you must know how to structure the data in xml and with users you have the additional requirement of encrypting passwords. So entering users by hand is easier for a non technical person. But if you have a large number of users I would suggest contracting with someone active on the ML to help you prepare the user import including generating encrypted passwords. Once your users (and Parties) are created in OfBiz you can have each PSS and POS client pull the proper entities so user information is maintained centrally, but propogates to each client. 4.
