my clients get the 4.0 if they want stability.
if they are open to bugs, and want the feature in the Trunk then that.
I freeze the trunk for testing then use commits to add features.
this is not as complicated for you, since you are just using the
framework.
probably go with trunk since there are some many changes then if you
started for 4.0 you would have to rework you app if you went with
the trunk.

the way it is designed, and it started working that way a long
time
ago. However, not many people test this frequently so you may
run into

you can either use the Hot deploy and not worry about
loading the
normal
way
or you can create you own folder and load from there.
Build and load are two separate things.
you can build everything but only load what you want to use.
