The best way to do this is just put it in the "hot-deploy" directory. When OFBiz starts up it will look in that directory for sub- directories that have a "ofbiz-component.xml" file which it will read to load resources for that component.

Is there an automatic way to add a component to the framework - or is this still a manual process? I don't see any obvious webtool or other mechanism for doing this through OFBiz.
