Hi All:
The new OFBiz 9.x (from the packaged distribution) main storefront page
- center column - doesn't resize gracefully - at least not with FireFox
3.0.10. Content from the center column overwrites right column text even
when I resize my browser window almost as wide as it goes. Not to offend
anyone but - It looks really sloppy.
Other observations that make it look not too professional:
The top rule just below the Featured products (BTW, the "P" should
be capitalized) is longer than the other rules separating each line.
The graphics are not centered above the descriptive text
No page counters - even if there is only 1 page, I believe you
should tell people that there is only 1 page of products. (Plus, you
want to showcase the fact that the software is pagination for you. This
is a selling point!)
When you select "Gift Cards" under Browse Categories - there are
some empty lines in the list (between "Gift Cards Reload" and "Gift
Cards Purchase") Same is true of "Widgets" and "Gizmos"
Again, not to insult since I know how hard it is to get the CSS right -
but IMHO it is better to have something "safe" like the 4.x center
column layout where you can be assured that each item will fit on a
separate line and that the center column resizes gracefully (to a point
:-) than this. Especially when you are trying to get people to try it out.
