Hi community
I have been working with Ofbiz for a while now and eventually managed to
launch a site for a very supportive client - albeit a very important one
in
the context of Research in South Africa. My client is a major funder of
research in the country and I recommended that they use Ofbiz for the
online
Emerging Researchers Network website. You can check it out at
http://ern.nrf.ac.za. Please provide some feedback if you can - I know
most
of you are extremely busy - but be gentle. Some details of the
implementation:
Os: Linux Ubuntu;
Httpd: Apache2;
Ofbiz modules: Content; WorkEffort (Calendar and Project); Parties etc.
We
have not implemented ecommerce or other major ERP functionalities at this
stage and might never - but Content is the one that counts here. I have
developed customised applications for featured articles (based on OOT
blogs)
and some other stuff.
database: MySql 5.1;
Thanks to all the people that responded to my annoying requests over the
last six months.
Please provide feedback - it's a work in progress.
Regards
Gavin
