Hi Jacques, Dan, everyone

groovy has a neat way for calling scripts and returning results:

def myString = "cat params.txt".execute().text

I tried this in an existing groovy service but get an error: "No such
property: execute for class string: JAva.lang.String"

Is there a way that I can do something similar from a groovy service?
 Even the ability to simply call a script wpi;ld be useful.

Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

thanks and kind regards

Ernest
