Hello !

I send you this mail concerning the property
oozie.service.PurgeService.purge.limit.

I found in the following link the description of this property :
Link :
https://books.google.fr/books?id=9wU_CQAAQBAJ&pg=PT276&lpg=PT276&dq=oozie.service.PurgeService.purge.limit&source=bl&ots=jXmad0quE6&sig=xy3_Dnoo5zNLlW9mAbPgvDksoDA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiAk-Puu5_MAhVB1hoKHT06BOEQ6AEIQzAG#v=onepage&q=oozie.service.PurgeService.purge.limit&f=false

Description :
###
Completed Actions purge:limit each purge to this value. This will make sure
the server is not spending too much time and resources purging and
overloading the server for other operations.
###

And I have some questions about this :
Q1 - This property limits the number of completed actions. Just to be sure,
if I keep the default value (100), does it mean that the PurgeService
remove, at maximum 100 actions ? It means that if I have two old workflows,
with the oldest having 99 actions and the other one 2 actions, the
PurgeService will only purge the first one ?

Q2 - Do you know how much resource does the oozie server needs to remove 1
action ? Because the description says "This will make sure the server is
not spending too much time and resources purging and overloading the server
for other operations".

Q3 - When can I find the logs of the PurgeService ? I checked the
instrumentation logs but didn't really understood them. Is there some
documentation somewhere about this ?

Hope you can informe me !

Best regards.

Morgrim.
