The version of Tomcat I am using is 4.1.27 LE But I am eventually intending on deploying on Tomcat 5.0.19
Currently I am not using Apache but will eventually. Not sure which version at the present moment, as this depends upon the ISP I am going to deploy my app on.

It doesn't matter. OpenEJB won't know if Tomcat works with Apache Web Server or alone.

No, not yet. The pre-1.0 version from CVS has got many enhancements to the way it works with Tomcat so hopefully it will be worked out using it.
