Elias, thanks for digging this up. BTW, where do you think is the best part of Adobe Connect to learn from?

Alexei,

I interpret your question as "what makes Adobe Connect more tempting".

If this is the question the answer is:

* Connect has a sleek design that is convincing especially from non-technical person's view. This is hard to accomplish in an Open Source project like OM that contains different parts with different designs. However, there are some simple things we could do. Example: instructions on how to make browser automatically open the jnlp-executable downloaded. Sad as it is - this could be a dealbreaker for an organization.

* Connect has the ability of splitting the meeting in to subgroups who may work independently and then come back to main meeting. (example: a meeting splitting into subgroups) This is valued by people who mainly use the sw for meetings.

There is a conferencing software comparison done by a Finnish education organization about 2 years ago. It is of course in Finnish but I can read it through again and check it against the roadmap of OM.

I am afraid that I am useless when it comes to coding as I have not done it years. I do have experience about FLOSS in both corporate and educational use.
