Excuse me if I jump in, not being an expert, but my similar problem was
solved by Alvaro, who pointed out that the path for libreoffice needs to
be only /usr/lib/libreoffice/ (actually in my case /opt/libreoffice4.4/)
without program.
You may want to try that. Hope it works.

most probably you don't have pdf2swf installed
please install swftools 0.9.1 (0.9.2 doesn't contain pdf2swf)

Hello OM team.
I have a problem with my WhiteBoard.
Except from images I get the “deleted” image when I try to
upload to Whiteboard. Pdf an office files seem to be uploading
correctly to FILES, since I can see the page thumbnail in the
preview on the left.
