If you get a blank page it is likely that the base/core hasn't been able
to initialize for some reason. It can happens sometimes when deps are
missing, but I doubt it.

Still, in such cases the Apache's error log might contain useful info
about what's wrong, probably an exception occurring very early in the
code. Please have a look there and post your findings.
