Are you doing any serious syncing except doing photo uploads?
I wouldn't call it serious. I do uploads-only on the camera directory and a bidirectional sync on a directory I use for stuff that needs to be in OC and on the phone (notes etc). I only have a 16GB phone so I can't sync my entire OC instance.
I've never had any issues in this configuration but it's quite light in terms of usage, it maybe averages out to a few MB per day of sync activity.
