Hi - I had a pathing issue between Windows & Linux whereby the slashes needed to be backward \ in windows (\\ escaped) and forward / in linux.

I developed a Spring MVC web application with Netbeans in Windows. The application uses POI to set some values in some Excel files an then to read and display results from other cells calculated accordingly. The application works well in Windows but when I upload my app in Linux (Tomcat servlet) is failling first time it should set a value. Have anybody any experience with that to help me? Owner of the xls files is the same as the owner of tomcat and file permissions are 777.
