Thank you VERY MUCH for your investigations! 

I am confirming that I have same behavior in my case.

BTW: patterns like you used in code and my("dd/mm/yyyy;@") do not work for
Open Office 3.3.0. But my task was to make it work at least for Excel 2010
so that is acceptable for me.
