Looks like you are hitting an out-of-memory problem now. Try upping your Ant memory -- take a look at build.sh to see how to do that. And by the way, you might want to try a Roller 4.0 RC instead. Roller 4.0 is *very* close to release. It's better than 3.1 and if you get up and running with 4.0 you won't have to do the 3.1 -> 4.0 upgrade.
