Using maven is much easier as it download everything for you.
A nightly snapshot for 3.0 is running now and should be available within
an hour
at http://dist.codehaus.org/org.apache.servicemix/

Thanx for quick reply. I am just downloading the binary versions and
trying to run the examples to understand the Servicemix stuff.
Do you mean to say that:
a) I should get the latest code from
:http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/servicemix/trunk/
b) compile using maven and create a distributable/execuatble file
c) Run servicemix from that distributable file.
Is there a simple way to just download the binary and run the example???
To be honest, I am not intending to download the source and build
using maven. I am new to working in open-source projects so the reason
may sound stupid - I have windows machine and don't know how to use
svn command on that. I think that can be used on unix/linux boxes.
I did tried to download the source zip file and opened it using
Eclipse IDE. It gave me uncountable compilation errors due to absence
of proper jars. I kept manually downloading individual jars for over 2
hrs and then gave up.
Thanks once again for help
