Dear Shale developers
I designed one of the logo suggestions, and as I understood it, only the
winner would need to sign a Contributor License Agreement, which is why
I have not taken the time to send you one. But the latest e-mail from
Greg Reddin today talks about filtering out suggestions for which the
contributor has not signed a CLA. Could you please be very clear on this
matter: Do or do we not need to sign a CLA to participate?
I hope you will stick to the original plan of only requiring the winner
to sign, so that everyone but the winner is saved the paperwork. In the
event that the winner of the competition would be unwilling to sign, you
could always choose the 2nd place logo.
