Hey,
I am trying to get my hands on SPARK and i want to run a JAVA code and
as specified in the Spark documentation

As specified in the document, i am building the maven package using*mvn
package*but i am getting the same error again and again.

I landed up on this post because of the scala-maven-plugin.
I increased the perm size Using MAVEN_OPTS.
Also i have apache maven 3.1.1 as my M2_HOME.
