OK - I can see how using cookies in this case is less than desirable.... (thanks Craig)
So, am I just screwed? The problem with returning data onof Tomcatstring is that I can easily exceed the 2k limit; using session variables won't work either because I can be called from separate instancesI have toor even IIS running on distinct servers. And because of this, the request.use response.sendRedirect() which means I can't put objects inmachine so that
Any other ideas?

In order for this to work, your "from" machine is going to have to create a cookie that looks like it came from the "to"request. Lots ofthe cookie value will be included on the subsequentreject suchpeople will configure their browser security policies to---------------------------------------------------------------------third party cookies ... to say nothing of how many people just disable cookies on general principle, and would even reject "first party" cookies that returned information to the same host.
Thanks....Craig
