Besides being a little overwrought in your initial response :-), your
theory on this puzzles me.  In the over four years that this mailing
list has been around, you'll see *tons* of code examples and stack
traces in the archives.  Indeed, there's basically no way to help
someone debug their problem without all the details.  In fact, if you
look for people who post "I have a problem" *without* posting all the
gory details, you'll typically see "please show me the code" type
responses in return :-)

That being said, I do believe that original code used as an example
(as was posted in this case) is better pointed at then posted -- after
all, the average user's mail reader is just as likely to mangle code
as anything else.  But a blanket prohibition on posting code would
tend to make this list much less useful.
