Two quick question guys. I'm trying to type up reasons as to why we should upgrade from 1.1 to 1.2 (specifically 1.2.7). It seems to me that the bulk of the fixes/enhancements have been in client/server side validation and tiles. I've got some other stuff like errorClass etc in html tags, action message support in actions, lazy validator form included too. Can you guys think of anything else I can throw in? Really major bugs that have been fixed since 1.1 would be ideal.
This seems to imply that there _were_ really major bugs in 1.1. ;) The release notes since 1.1 are on these two pages: http://struts.apache.org/userGuide/release-notes-1.2.4.html http://struts.apache.org/userGuide/release-notes-1.2.7.html
Also, I was I would like to know the amount of support available here for 1.1 questions vs. 1.2. Is it generally frowned upon to ask 1.1 questions or is that kosher?
Definitely not frowned on-- you're welcome to ask, but you take your chances as to whether you'll get a quick answer. I would say support for 1.1 is not going to be great, but it all depends on who's subscribed to the list on any given day. -- Wendy Smoak --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
