Hi Laurie I haven't seent his page before so I tried to trace back the link from the main struts pages. It's hidden in a "more..." link at the bottom of a page called "How to build applications" which is under the "Howto Guides". No wonder I didn't find it. I think there is another link from Projects | Taglibs | Taglib reference.
It's certainly better than reading the API. I guess I'm suggesting that these reference documents should be under the documentation links. For example: Documentation | User Guide | View Components (Page: 3. Building view components) in particular 3.3 refers to the taglibs. We should have a link here to the Developer Guides | Taglib reference page. Documentation | Developer Guides | { Bean Tags | HTML Tags | Logic Tags | etc } These currently reference two documents: 1. The package description which has never made much sense to me 2. While named the API Reference it links to the taglib user reference (has this been changed recently? I'm sure it used to link to the API reference) I would like two destinctions on this list of links: User links such as: 1. Taglib users reference 2. Taglib users guide (I'm not sure we have this yet, it is more convversational and includes some code examples) Developer links such as: 1. Package description (UML) 2. API reference How does this sound? Kind regards mc On 22 Sep 2005 at 19:43, Laurie Harper wrote: > Did you look at the documentation Dave referenced?
