What would be an appropriate tool for creating the UML diagrams for
MailReader? I use Rose for my work, but I think documentation for open
source projects needs to be readable by everyone.
I found Visual Paradigm recently when looking for something that would
integrate with IntelliJ IDEA. There is a free community edition:
http://www.visual-paradigm.com/product/vpuml/
But I don't think it's such a bad idea to do them in Rose, especially if
you're volunteering. :) Assuming you can export the images as Ted
mentioned, we already have a place for them to live:
http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/struts/site/trunk/xdocs/uml/?rev=290621
The only thing there is a sequence diagram
http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/struts/site/trunk/xdocs/uml/sequence-diagram-action.gif?rev=232533&view=markup
that doesn't appear to be linked from the site.
