There is something odd: these log files look truncated or with parts
missing; for example, consider the last line of http://apaste.info/7LRD
or the fact that http://apaste.info/7LRD stops after deploying Activiti
but before performing any content loading...
Or even the fact that core/taregt/log/core-connid.log is empty: it
should contain at least the connector configuration's validate messages.
Are you sure that there is nothing interfering with the deploy? Any kind
of antivirus or firewall, for example?
I was just able to generate a new project and play with embedded mode in
Windows 7 64 bit (with Maven 3.0.4); with Oracle JDK 1.6 I had no
problems at all while with Oracle JDK 1.7 the "Windows Firewall" asked
for some kind of authorization before continuing: maybe this is similar
to your case?
