Hi Guys,

Doc [1] states that the /rest (json mode) interface will be removed after 1.2.0. Does this mean we will be stuck with only the very human unreadble xml output form, or will there be an additional option, after the change to allow the output, in the more human readable json form, examples as described in [2], in addition to pleasing
xml lovers?

Doc [1] states that Spring MVC REST interface (available under /rest) will be removed in 1.2.0 and that CXF REST interface (available under /cxf) will stay. It does not say anything about format (XML or JSON).

In 1.1.0 the CXF services had some issues with JSON that made devs prefer to delay this format in CXF to 1.2.0.

This means that 1.2.0 will still be featuring JSON and XML, via CXF, the only REST interface available.

Hope this clarifies.
Regards.
