OK thanks Francesco. Would it not be possible to (e.g.) default to the KEY column name given in the Connector for the DB case?

I think you can try to leave the field blank and the connector should do the rest: at least, this is working for LDAP.

        Hi all,

When creating a User mapping for a Resource (with a DB
Connector), when I create a USER/Username + tick account Id
mapping, the old behaviour was to gray out the external
attribute. However, it is remaining blank + I have to
explicitly key in the key column name to get it to work. If I
don't, I get an error about an external attribute missing.
Attaching screenshot. Is this a known error in 1.2.0?

It's not a bug, it's the consequence of a feature [1] in ConnId
1.4.0.0 that Syncope 1.2.0.0 is using.
