Hi,

we have implemented a tika server based on Docker.

https://github.com/imixs/imixs-docker/tree/master/tika

This is an easy way to run a tika service in microservice environment.

I have seen that you have no docker world. But you do not need a complete world ;-)

If you have a linux server, than you can install docker in a view seconds. See here: https://docs.docker.com/install/linux/docker-ce/debian/

After hat you run:

|docker run -d |||--restart |||||always| |--name="tika" -p 9998:9998 imixs/tika|

That's it - you have a tika service and a tiny docker world.

Best regards

Ralph

I’m looking at running Tika Server mode in a Linux box (and sorry, I don’t know the specific flavour….).   Is there a nice service script to deal with bring Tika back up if the Linux box is restarted?

I saw this link on Stack Overflow: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/31733709/auto-restart-a-tika-server

We aren’t in a Docker world either ;-(
